Why is Made in France important?

A French production approach from fashion designers like La Jaquette is in fact a way to preserve natural resources, to participate in sustainable development.

What is sustainable development? It is the principle of improving the environment, the economy and society for the world and for one's country.

As far as the environment is concerned, the fashion industry is very polluting and has been for a long time.

Some figures: a cotton T-shirt uses 2700 liters of water for its creation. 25% of the world's pesticides are used to grow cotton. A garment travels an average of 65,000 km between its creation and its sale.

This long journey is only polluting, regardless of the means of transport used. The Made in France will reduce the journey of the creations to their points of sale, to reduce their carbon footprint.

Beyond the environmental aspect, the Made in France is a help to his country. First of all, this production certifies you a quality and a French know-how, like the jackets La Jaquette, on which you can count.

Moreover, Made in France creates jobs in France, and makes its shops, factories, employees etc. work. On a large scale, this production reduces unemployment in France and allows to avoid, or at least to fight against an economic crisis.

Thus, La Jaquette invites you, at your level, to consume Made in France, for our planet and its inhabitants.
